My hubby and I have been trying to conceive #2 for a few months now. According to my ovulation app my fertile times were the 7th to the 13th. We had sex on the 11th which was one day before i was suppose to ovulate.

I've been starving....craving weird foods like bacon cheese burgers, and I seem to be endlessly hungry, very tired, my nipples are hard but not always sensitive but i have notice a tingling sensation.

Hubby thinks I want it so bad I'm seeing signs that might not be there.

I'm due tomorrow and so far no cramps, but last week I was spotting from the 20-to the 24th. It was spotting though and definitely not a period. It was either dark brown or light pink depending on the day. It stopped yesterday and I'm due tomorrow.

Is it stupid for me to hope????

Your symptoms sound very promising, especially with the spotting!

It is possible to over-analyze and think you're having pregnancy symptoms when you aren't pregnant. I think most of us here have done it! lol

If this isn't your month, you may want to consider using charting, as phone apps for predicting ovulation only really guess at your ovulation date, based on a typical woman's cycle. Most women (including myself) don't follow a typicall ovulation pattern...so those apps can be off enough days that you'd miss your fertile window.

I hope you don't need to worry about that though, and that this is your month for a BFP!

Keep us updated. Will you test tomorrow?

The app I use, basically uses the last 6 months of your cycle to determine your ovulation and it's been pretty spot on for determining when my period will start.

Mine isn't typical for sure.

Hubby doesn't want to test until Wednesday and that is gonna drive me bonkers. The waiting yk? He's afraid of a false positive too.

I guess the spotting is what really made me wonder. Never had that happen, not even with our daughter.

Plus the starving stuff....seriously last time I couldn't even look at food.

I hope you get your bfp tomorrow!

While those apps are good at predicting periods, they still can't clearly predict ovulation. Again, just a guess.

I think you won't need to worry about that though., I'm guessing you'll get a bfp tomorrow!

I hope so Part of me is worried that I'm not. But I know there is nothing I can do about it.

I downloaded the app because I wanted to have more visibility with predicting my periods. My OB suggested the one I'm using.

But I know you are right about predicting when you ovulate.

I took a test last night when I got home from work and it was negative. Still no cramps or period so I'll wait a few more days and if still nothing I'll retest....but it sure was a blow, I was pretty down about it.

What kind of test did you use? A FRER tends to be the best but even my positive didn't show up until 3 days after AF was expected.

It was a first response digital test.

Period was expected yesterday. So I'm really only a day late but I thought testing yesterday would have been fine.

I think I might retest Thursday but the waiting is killing me yk?
