You may want to ask about the different meds on the Trying to concieve medical assistance (TTCMA) board. Those ladies are awesome and I'm sure they would be able to answer all of your questions regarding medications. Good luck.

I used to drink this fertility tea that had vitex in it and my cycles went from pretty regular to all over the place. Some months were really short and other months really long like 40 days plus. I won't touch anything herbal again. They may help or they may make things worse.

I apologize, I should've asked you some other questions before directing you to the TTCMA board. I didn't realize how long you had been TTC or that you had been on BC (it can take several cycles for your body to get back to normal after using hormonal BC). It can take the average couple up to 15 months of TTC to have a full pregnancy according to several doctors I've spoken with. At 22-23 it took my husban and I 15 months of TTC (temping and OPKs) to concieve our first. Our second was a mini pill baby and this pregnancy took 6 months of TTC (temping and using OPKs).

Before you jump to meds (unless a doctor has done a fertility work up on you) I would chart your temps and use OPKs for a few months. I know how frustrating and heartbreaking it is to get negatives and your period month after month but it's all worth the wait in the end. Most doctors won't do a fertility work up at your age unless you've been actively trying for at least a year. As someone else said there are things like Fertilaid tea, preseed and fertility diets that you can try without having to see a doctor. I hope you don't have to wait much longer to get your BFP!
KMH and hellokittylittle like this.

Im going to take vitamins. Vitex or chasteberry helps regulate cycles from what Ive read. More natural and helps with several different things. But now after reading it makes things even.more chaotic, maybe not. When I met with my doctor he had said that things get back to normal relatively fast. Guess thats not the case. This seems to be a healthier cycle this time though. Suppose to go.to endocrinologist next month. So we will wait and see.
