Is it possible to miss a period on a 38 days cycle and have it showing up 14 days later??
Is it my period? Or what? My fiance and I had sex a day after the expected period start date and I have been having some pregnancy symptoms which is quite tricky for me as I have also been suffering from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). In January this year i lost my baby before i even knew how far was I and we're hoping to try for another one.... So, could I be pregnant now with the missed period or 14 days delayed period?? Please advise
Yes you can out of the blue end up with a much longer than usual cycle. I never had cycles longer than 32 days than out of no where I started having 40+ day cycles and this lasted about half a year and than my cycles just spontaneously went back to shorter lengths. So you could be having an off cycles or You could also be pregnant if you have not had any bleeding during this time. The best thing to do would be to take a test. Let us know what your results are. 52 days is really long to go without a period so that makes it more likely you are pregnant. If you are not pregnant and continue to have cycles like this you might want to check with your O.B. because there are some fertility conditions which can make your cycles very long like this.
