I tested this morning use FMU. I didn't take a picture but there was a white line where the postive should be. No colour at all. My understanding is that is an evap line. From what I read it means the urine evaporated a bit before going through the test or something. Does it also mean for sure negative? Or should I test again? If so when? tomorrow or wait a few days? I put in the required 4 drops of urine in the test area, should I have added an extra?

Also, question re: blue/pink dye tests.

I'm using (canadian) dollar store tests and there is a bit of blue colour in the part where you drop your urine but the lines that show up are pink. So is it a pink dye test or blue dye?

How many DPO are you? A white line is usually an indent line. HOWEVER, I have gotten severe indent lines only to get a bfp like two days later...but that could just be coincidence. Never got them without being pregnant either...so....but many others have. i would say retest in a few days

I would retest at least 2 days later, not the next day. HCG usually takes at least 48 hours to double, so if you are really early, I would wait at least that, if not more if you can stand the wait.

If the lines are pink, it is likely a pink dye test, make sure you use those, they are more accurate, less chance of evap lines. Good luck!

If the control line is pink then it's a pink dye test. I would wait a day or two before testing again. Good luck!

Okay thank you. I'm not sure my DPO because I am only guessing my O day by CM and I'm brand new to it. I'd estimate 12DPO but could be a few less. I'll retest in 2 or 3 days thank you.
