Hi ladies,

Just trying to get some encouragement. I've taken a ridiculous amount of hpts lol (POASaholic I think). Anyways, of course they were all BFNS. Well, AF is still a no-show which is very weird for me as I am like clockwork every 28 days. Normally my boobs a hurt a week before AF but this month only 1 day before AF was supposed to show and soreness has been increasing since. Today I was nauseated on and off. Well, I went and got my blood taken so I should know tomorrow morning. Anyone else have a similar experience and went on to get a BFP with a blood test? Keeping my fingers crossed.

When was AF due? I've always been told anything over 5 is pregnant so if you ovulated later than your average and depending on the brand of HPT you use I guess it could be possible. Fingers crossed for you! Keep us updated!

AF was due the 11, but to be fair I will even say the 12 as it generally starts late night while I'm sleeping. So technically 1-2 days late. I know, I am ridiculously impatient but I have NEVER had a late period and never not had all my PMS junk symptoms like labor back pains, intense cramping, swollen tender boobs, etc etc. No PMS symptoms except sore boobs and weird tingly feelings radiating in my armpit region and my nipples? I know, TMI but it's totally weird.

Definitely could get a positive. Some women show up with a positive later on an HPT than a blood test. KUP and good luck!

The blood test can detect even the lowest amount of HCG. So as long as an egg has implanted than the blood test should be accurate. The pregnancy tests usually detect 10-20 at the soonest and some even as high as 40-50 depending on which test you are using. I hope you get a BFP on your blood test.

Some women never get a positive on an HPT, it can depend on when you take the test, if your urine is too dilute, etc. POAS seems "easy", but there is a little science to it...weird right

Anyways, you could definitely get a positive on a blood test and not on an HPT, especially being "early" like you are. Any news on the blood work?

Blood Test came back BFN. Still no period, and pretty freaking bad nausea. Feeling like my stomach is in sour knots, Idk how else to explain it. No clue what's going on with me as I'm obviously not pg with BFN for blood test.

Sorry to hear about your negative test. You must just be having an off cycle. It happens to us all at some time. If you keep having off cycles you might want to ask you O.B. about it but your cycles can also suddenly change. For many years I have 28 day cycles like clockwork than they started changing to 30 plus days and stayed that way. Than after I got closer to 30 they suddenly changed and now they are 28-35 days and more irregular but I still ovulate and nothing else it wrong with me. If your cycles have changed than use ovulation tests next cycle so you will be able to more accurately pinpoint when you ovulated.
