So, I've been on and off the pill for a few years and recently stopped as I broke up with my boyfriend. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't got my period. We had sex a few days ago completely unprotected. Haven't had period pains just that funny feeling in your tummy when it's coming but it still isn't here. Is there a chance I could be pregnant, or since I haven't got my period yet does that mean it isn't likely?
Unfortunately when you go off of hormonal birth control, your cycles can be very unpredictable for awhile. You could ovulate at any point in your cycle, since your body is trying to get back into a normal cycle. It's really hard to determine when you'd be ovulating unless your taking OPK tests.
Have you only had unprotected sex a few days ago? If you got pregnant from that one time, then you wouldn't have any symptoms as of yet.
