Are you planning to buy any baby stuff before you get your bfp or will you wait till you are pregnant to start shopping for baby stuff?

When we started ttc our first I bought a lot of baby stuff before I ever got pregnant. I figured I could start budgeting and getting stuff early to help with costs, etc. It took us a while to get pregnant with him so I probably had an entire baby nursery set up for over a year before we actually got pregnant. But I think it helped me. I liked getting ready and doing something to prepare.

ive never bought baby stuff before getting pregnant, and now that we pretty much have everything a baby could need, a potential 4th child really wouldnt need much

Yes. I'm buying stuff right now. I have just been slowly buying since we decided we were going to ttc this spring. My dh is fine with me buying stuff. He is even going to buy me the pack n play I want for Christmas. I really can't wait until spring though to hit up some yard sales!

I've bought a crib, bedding, and paint to paint the nursery. I just wanted to get started so that it's not overwhelming when we do get that BFP.

I started buying severely discounted items because all my friends were getting pregnant and I had a good employee discount. Now I won't part with any of it. :/

I agree. I think it helped us to buy things a little at a time and have a lot of what we needed by the time we got our bfp.
