Alright so my bf and I are not ttc but haven't exactly been preventing it. I figured if anyone can give me some answers it would be you ladies!
My last period was November 11, 2013 thru November 17th, 2013. We usually use the pull-out method (I know, I know) but on 11-24 and 11-25 he ejaculated inside. I didn't think much of it and cannot be on birth control or take plan b due to a weird blood disorder.
So this last weekend, 12-7, I started spotting, just a bit and thought maybe it was from sex?
Then Sunday (12-8), I bled almost like a normal period and yesterday (12-9), bled a little less and now today, nothing.
I have a relatively rare bleeding disorder (factor v deficiency) so my periods are usually extremely heavy and last about 7 or 8 days. In the 13 years that I've been menstruating, I've never had a period last less than 6 days so this whole business of bleeding for two days and then nothing freaked me out.
I keep hearing it's too early to take a test or anything but have any of you had any experience with this? My current gynecologist is pretty booked until after Christmas so I'm having a hard time getting scientific answers at this point. Help?
Also I do not typically cramp during my period (usually only when I ovulate) and had some cramping Saturday and Sunday accompanied by a monster of a headache (which I also rarely get).

Is there a time of day that is better to test? Morning, afternoon, night? I've just never been through this before lol.

I say test. I would think that having sex those days is timing it right for conception and the spotting/bleeding sounds like it could have been implantation. Test!

How long are your cycles normally? I have really long periods too. Mine are at least 6 days and used to average 10 days. They've gotten a bit better since I started working out.

It sounds like you had sex around the time you would have been fertile but it kind of depends on how long your cycles normally are. I've had implantation bleeding and for me it's always just been one or two episodes of light spotting but I've seen other girls have what seemed like a light period. With you having a bleeding disorder I can imagine that it might make your bleeding heavier.

Normally, it takes 2 to 3 days from the time implantation occurs for you to make enough hCG to show up on a test so if that was IB I think you could take a test now. I'd try to take it with first morning urine. Let us know when you test.

My periods are always either 27 or 28 days. So yeah I guess the math would be right. I'm going to test tomorrow morning and see what it says. I was trying to wait it out but the not knowing is agonizing!! Plus It seems like I'm getting more sluggish every day. Walked my dog a mere one mile last night and then passed out on the couch at 6:30. Haha. Thanks for the support so far!!

id test too, at this point it if you are pregnant it probably doesnt matter what time of day you take the test, as long as your pee isnt super diluted

good luck and keep us posted!
