Took a preg test Monday it was negative....My period was supposed to come this thursday and I thought that it came last night. I have period like cramping with a little fresh bleeding (red not dark brown)

Today there was a tad bit of bleeding and I just thought I would take another preg test for the off chance that this is not my period.

It was POSITVE!

I am cramping but the spotting has pretty much gone away.

Should I go in and take a blood test to see what my levels are at??

Hmmmm....

Excited and nervous.

And.... i wore a tampon for a day which kinda weirds me out .... i am sure its fine

I did the same thing with my last daughter. I bled for 6 days, though, and two of those days I was using tampons. On the last day of bleeding, I was really surprised to get a positive test(tested because the bleeding was so weird, and I was trying to prove to a friend I was NOT pregnant!). lol The tampons didn't hurt us.

They'll give you plenty of blood tests during your first appointment, and you can call a day or two later to find out levels. Doctors here don't order them for curiosity's sake. =P
Yours might. Never hurts to ask!

Congratulations! HH9M!

That is crazy... you just never know right?? Levels came back this morning and all looks good for how early I am... So in 3 weeks I have my first appointment!!! My daughter is going to flip in an excited way when we tell her. She is 2.5 and not sure how much she will really get....but she is pretty saavy so we shall see.

When is a good time to tell them? She is very talkative and will tell everyone if we tell her to soon. HAHA!

No idea. My first has Autism so she was clueless. My second was an infant when I conceived her sister so once again clueless. lol
