When I was pregnant with my daughter that was the only bad thing about my pregnancy (besides the weight gain). I never threw up but I'd gag all day. DF and I would be walking in the mall and I'd just gag outta no where lol! It was crazy and everyone else thought so too. But I rather do that than throw up! I hate throwing up!
When I was preggo with both my boys, I was never sick. My stomach never even turned however thats the one thing I couldnt do was brush my teeth without gagging!
With my girls it was different. I could brush my teeth without a problem but I was nauseous with them. With Amber-Rae it was over quick but with Alyssa it lasted until I was 4 months! I never did throw up but boy did I use to feel like it!
Well, I have to say, yes to that. I had to switch toothpaste brands a couple of times to find one that made it easier. Maybe try one with out all the whitening and tartar and baking soda etc... Just like regular crest or something.
Also, I had an annoying, dry cough with both pregnancies. I started coughing the other day, and DH said, oh, youre pg if you are coughing like that.
I had this with all of my pregnancies. I didn't have a lot of vomiting from morning sickness with my older two, but my gag reflex was SO sensitive. I gagged at anything lol. Bacon grease/hamburger grease was the worst for me though.
I remember watching a video in my first responder class about suctioning out someones mouth who vomited. I could barely stand it. I kept saying "it's just can soup" over and over in my head so I didn't run to the bathroom and throw up LOL
My sister in law had trouble with brushing her teeth...of course she had bad morning (more like 24 hour) sickness with my nephew and my future neice (due Dec.5)...she had to switch to children's toothepaste because it was so harsh!
I didn't get sick during my pregnancy except once at about 6 weeks. I don't remember really ever gagging unless it was when I was changing diapers at the day care! LOL
