Ok.. What is going on?

Ok so I have a 6 1/2 month old daughter. And I've been noticing some pregnancy symptoms lately. since hubby and I have "snuggled" alot lately.

I've been hungry all the time lately.. something that only really happens when I'm pregnant. usually I'll eat then be full for hours where as lately I'm full for minutes and then I'm heading to the fridge again.

I've also noticed odd fluttering twinges below my belly button. now for a while i thought it was just the way i was sitting, maybe a squished muscle or something.. but now i feel it all the time.

So... what do you all think? should i test? or is it all in my head?

The thing is.. I haven't had a period yet! I'm still breastfeeding Ella!

That's what has got me all confused... I dunno when I'm ovulating!

I felt the twinges again.. and they felt just like when you are 16 weeks along and you start to feel the baby for the first time.

I guess I'll go find myself a EPT! lol

I agree... I am guessing you know that the old tale that you cannot get preggers while breast feeding is a bold faced lie? Lol Thats when DS#2 was concieved... 3 months after DS#1 was born, lol so it can deff. happen!! Good luck... if you can and would rather you can go to the dr. for a blood test... they are 100%. Good Luck, I hope you get the results you want!!

Oh i know that breastfeeding isn't 100% protection.. My hubby and I both know that. Sure it might delay a period, but that it even worse because then you are in a situation like i am right now.. you don't know what is going on inside your body!

I'm just worried because Hubby doesn't want any more right now, so I'm not to sure what to tell him when I tell him I'm going to test... ugh

Sooooo, did you test? What happened? I am wondering because I am still breastfeeding my 5 month old son and haven't yet had a period...which concerns me because I breastfeed my other two and would have had a period or two by now.

If you do an EPT won't it be positive because of the bf? Wondering if I should do one myself is why I ask.

You can actually chart before you get your periods back, and will have some warning before your first post partum ovulation occurs.

I didnt get my period for 11 months after I had my daughter due to the bf'ing. It showed up as soon as I stopped. I wasn't on birth controll the entire time and my health nurse said it is common for af not to show for even 12 months while bf'ing. Good luck, I hope you get the result you want.
