I just come to find I either have my period or am spotting, I am not due for my period until next week and I'm already doing some kind of bleeding though it doesnt feel like a period, I don't know what spotting is supposed to be like or how long it lasts? Should I still take a pregnancy test next week? Any help? Thanks! I'll keep you all posted.

I just checked and it wasn't red it was brownish and very light. I read on line saying spotting can happen a few days before you are expected your period I'm not due till the 30th, do you think I'm spotting or it's a period?

Have you had unprotected sex recently? Is your cycle a 28 day cycle? You could be starting early although you could also be experiencing implantion bleeding which occurs acouple of days before expected period - you could be pregnant and the embryo is planting into the uterus wall.

My advice is to wait till your period is atleast a day late in order to test. Good luck.

Thank you for the response Yes my husband and I didn't use any protection we are trying to have a baby so if this is spotting that I'm having and hopefully it'll mean I'm pregnant since I think it's too early for my period I'm always right on the same day, and it doesn't feel like it. Normally I get cramping and all the other symptoms for periods this feels different. I'll keep you posted! If youre not due for your period until next week but youre spotting NOW, maybe its implantation bleeding? That happens around the time you would get your period, maybe even a week before. I even think a week after you were supposed to get it. Im not too sure. Look up facts about implantation bleeding and signs and symptoms of it. Could be whats going on...GOOD LUCK!

If it was IB then it would still be too early to test, I've others say that it took about 6 days from IB for a BFP.

Hey, keep us posted. I am going through the same thing. My husband and I are TTC and I started spotting last Thursday (and I still continue) and it is brown and light...nothing like a period. My period is due Thursday...so I am just counting down the days till I can test!!!
