I was so scared to get my papers because of what he was going to ask for because I knew he would be an a $$ but it said he requested "equitable division of assets and debts" which I think made me even more upset. But when I sent my reply, I got no response so I'm sure he's more than ticked! Our court date in August should be really fun, considering how bad the domestic violence court case went, they will now probably bring up who I talk to at the gas station (while he lives with another woman & I've had to be living with my parents, paying his health insurance & the 2 things he did for me he quit doing, which were my cell phone and car insurance). Uggghhhh! I feel ya sweety!
I go to court tomorrow. I don't know what will happen because I called in sick to mediation (so it depends on how they interpert that), so they may just reschedual or they may just rule in his favor.
I did make a complaint to the presiding judge about what happened in court the last time I was there. The bailiff knew my x FIL, the judge didn't even listen to me and just sided with x attorney. Plus our judge was at fault in killing a little boy, I think he's gun shy. also he's up for re-election and he ran an ad in a free newspaper (religious) stating that he did work in this counsling place, anyway it was just more stuff that was things that could give the appearance of inappoprate judgeing.
