hi. im a lurker these days on JM, cant ever really think of much to say. However, finally after a YEAR the DCSE (division of child support enforcement for those who may not know) is FINALLY getting paperwork ready to serve my ex with an order to appear before court for a child support hearing and establishment. Its taking the state a YEAR, no, wait... TWO cause i started this in dec of 09 i think... And he has a mandatory back pay of min 2 1/2 since thats when its documented that we separated. and he hasnt sent a single penny, birthday card, email, phonecall to check on his son. Even when we go into his city to visit friends and family and he BEGS me to let him see his son, when i say ya meet me here we will talk and you can see him, he flips and goes on his whole, "oh you kidnapped him you piece of ***** w****!" tangent, shuts off his phone and goes into hiding for a week. O.o I dunno whats wrong with him other than hes actually the piece of s***. BUT i spoke to every one of the best family law attns here (which is a lot) for several reasons. 1: when it comes time to take him to court for custody, he cant contact any of the halfway good ones due to conflict of interest cause ive already met with them 2: to find out how strong my case is. apparently my case is so strong i dont even need an attn to get full custody.

on a side note, we were never married i was just dumb enough to put him on the birth certificate and to either stay with him or take off and never tell him i was pregnant...

I lurk every once in awhile. I've been separated from my ex since early 2010 and we have a 2 year old together. He's involved and is finally paying child support (only because it's getting with held from his checks). He lacks common sense for most things that involve our son and he lets his girl friend run the show. She's a controlling, insecure, jealous little thing.

I mostly lurk here. I'm not around often but I'm more commonly found at the single mommies board or children with Asthma.

I'm Vicky, mommy to Frederick who will be 4 January 7th. I've been seperated from Frederick's father since November 2009. We're starting the process of a divorce now. He lives in FL and has for over a year and I moved back to Ky.

He is paying c/s after the state finally went after him. Currently, he owes 18k in back child support, but it's getting garnished now from a wage withholding order. If not for that I really don't think we'd see any money. Prior to the wage with-holding we hadn't seen a dime from him.

I also have sole custody of our son. He's seen Frederick 2x since we left too.

Now that this board is active sort of, I'll start coming by more often.
