So I got a lawyer for child support and custody and before we can freaking serve him he decides to volunteer for a deployment. So now this puts everything on hold the divorce will take longer depending on what he decides to do.
We are both military and I want to move duty locations as I am putting in for an assignment closer to family and away from where he can be stationed if he stays in. I just have a afeeling my assignment will get approved and i could probably be gone prior to him coming back. the issue is I started everything in NC then I will be hopefully moving to DE.
I am tired of all his empty threats claiming that when he gets out of the military he will fight me for custody of the kids and win because well i will still be in the military and wouldnt be able to provide a stable home for my kids which is not true at all. yea there is a chance i will deploy but i havent in five years.
My kids are my life and since this seperation last year he has not taken any initiative to spend time with his children so why now to hurt me?
Seriously the fact that he volunteered for this deployment is crap coming from a guy who was tired of missing his childrens birthdays and what not.
So all in all I think the soldiers relief act is crazy and i am hoping to find a lope hole around it when he comes back to the states for a bit
