hello, im jen, i have 2 boys, nathan is almost 3 and caden is almost 6 months. nathan had reflux real bad, we switched formulas several times, tried reglan and zantac. he remained on the zantac till he was a little over a year. he ended up on the similac sensitive formula. i thought i had it rough with him, then i had caden. caden has had problems from day one. we tried the goodstart, then qualified for wic and tried the similac sensitive, still didnt help so now hes on the alimentum. he spits constantly, arches, cries uncontrollably, chokes when feeding, has that musical whistle sound, think its called stridor, has a hard time feeding one time then the next will eat too fast. i have an appointment for him tommorow, i talked to the dr today and they want to see if he has Laryngomalacia. has anyone's baby had this? just wondering if anyone can lend any advice or thoughts on something that has worked for them. right now caden is on the zantac but it really doesnt seem to be helping, weve tried prevacid but no matter what we put it in it didnt seem to dissolve right and he wouldnt take it. thanks in advance!
