I got some HappyBellies cereal today to give Jake. It seems to be 50/50 of people who believe it'll help reflux, and people who don't think it helps.

I got him the brown rice cereal, and this type is organic and has probiotics in it.

Anyone had luck with it helping?

I know rice cereal has helped some people here - for us it didn't seem to do anything other than make her constipation worse. So we only tried it for a week and then stopped. But give it a try and see what you think - maybe you'll be in the 50% that it helps!

We also had a constipation issue with rice cereal so we stopped it. I am interested in the probiotic part of this though? I have read that many kids have been helped with the probiotics. I am anxious to see how it works out for you! Good luck I hope you find that it helps!

We also give her cereal to help but she loves it. I give her water, 1oz, in between every bottle, and that helps with her not being constipated.

Ive never heard of that cereal before, but hey! If it works, that is all that matters. Good luck!

It has been working, I feed him a small bowl of it every few days.

Awesome! I'm glad it's helping!
How come you only do it every few days though? Why not once a day or something like that? Just curious!

We were doing it once a day, but I didn't want him getting constipated, which he hasn't. Now he seems to be outgrowing the reflux, so I figure he only needs it on his bad days, which he still has sometimes. He's not even 3 months yet, so I didn't want to give it to him too much, plus it's so much easier to BF him, than dirty up dishes for cereal.
