We're thickening and the little brown/gold valve thing is getting clogged.

Anyone use a bottle that doesn't clog?

Thanks!

I used Dr browns but never had the issue. I am trying to think who might have a cereal type nipple. Avent might or have a level that is workable with cereal.
Or Ventaires.

Otherwise we swore by dr browns but doing exclusive breastmilk we never could get it "thick" enough

Good luck and KUP if you find one

the nipple isn't getting clogged- it's the small extra piece that gets clogged.

Born Free doesn't get clogged, but the nipple is so much wider than he's used to!

ETA: we lessened the amount of cereal so the level 3s work again. He seems to be ok with that amount of cereal.

Noah was using a special bottle for his cleft palate - but the botle only went to 6oz. Now he drinks 7oz every 4 hours so we had to find another bottle.

The fact that BPA seems to be a big issue in plastics kinda scares me. Right now we are using the Ventaire's. I have to make a criss-cross cut in the nipples - 1. because his suck isnt how a 7mos old's suck should be 2. because the thick formula could get clogged.

I have tried the Dr. Brown bottles which didnt work for Noah's cleft and I never noticed it geting clogged. If you are still having an issue try a different bottle but maybe make the hole bigger or get a faster flowing nipple. Good luck
