Has anyone given a generic formula to their GERD baby? Enfamil Gentlease works best for us, but I found that the Target brand of it is almost identical and about $12 less for the large can. I asked Brayden's pedi about it today and he said it would be fine for him since they're all FDA regulated...however I can't help but think that we've finally found something that works (gentlease) so why switch it to save money and possibly screw him up worse. Grrr. It will help to hear from someone who has used a generic and their baby didn't wither up and blow away or have worse reflux.

Never heard of an issue with the generic. It's the same thing, you just have the label basically. I think as long as the formula is helping then there really isnt a problem with the price or the brand.

We used the Target Gentlease with our older son and saw NO difference between the two. Save the money when you can!

We've even gone in for the ginormous Costco formula with minimal problems! I would definitely save the money!
