Hello Ladies. I'm Marie, mommy to DS Nolan 32 months. We're adopting twin boys born at 28w3d on Feb 28th, they're still in the NICU, they are now term. They're both still in for brads d/t reflux. Both boys are on Prevacid, raised HOB for sleep, and Arthur is getting thickener added to his milk this weekend to see if it helps his reflux. Both are on regular Avent newborn bottles and on Goodstart. Both are 8lbs or more now. Hopefully the thickener helps Arthur and we can go home soon! Off to read some posts!
Welcome you know me from the Preemie and Feb board. I am one of the hosts here... Crystal is 2.5 and has suffered since she was born, she was 8weeks premature. Calleigh the one born 10weeks early is my newest and THANK GOD i had Crystal cause I am much more proactive and on top of things this time, and prepared.
Crystal is on nexium, it was the only drug that gave relieve. She has been on them all and more. On top of the GERD she has gastroparesis so they had her on reglan n NEVEr again to a child will I do that.
Calleigh is on prevacid. both have been tested and tested GERD and allergies etc... argh
Welcome and if you need anything ask... are they getting closer to come home?
We go tomorrow and hopefully they will have good news but judging by Calleighs disposition Im not to hopeful. Calleigh is listed as FTT, GERD, prematurity etc. Crystal is FTT and GERD. Which i think they are just "small" kids and thye need to move on and leave the label as GERD and prematurity in Calleighs' case, crystal is fully caught up
