Hi there, I used to come on here when DD#1 was little.....she had NIGHTMARE colic and reflux until she was about a year old....AWFUL.

We are now expecting baby #2 in February, and I am just wondering if I have a high chance of having another kiddo with reflux? Anybody have one baby with reflux and another that did not have it? (REALLY hoping we can escape it this time around, LOL)

Baby 1 had reflux, baby 2 also has reflux. Fortunatly we knew what to look for and what meds to try first. If it does happen, at least you'll know what to do.

Hi Ianthe!

I just want to say please God don't let my second child have it!!! Thankfully Matthew's is under control now but the first few months till he got meds were bad. I am tired of getting puked on though.

My first one had it REALLY bad. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what worked the best.

My second has it also but it is a lot easier. I think we noticed the signs right away (around 2-3 weeks) and started him on the meds, Alimentum and rice cereal in bottle right away.

I worried about this my entire pregnancy but honestly since I have been through it before it doesn;t seem nearly as bad!
