My son was diagnosed with reflux about 3 months ago. He has been doing fairly well on Zantac, but lately he has been having these screaming fits while he eats...arching his back and pulling away from the bottle. I am puzzled because he doesn't seem to be spitting anything up...but he looks extremely uncomfortable while this is taking place. Does this sound like part of his reflux? These episodes seem to be increasing.

sounds like his reflux could be flaring. Might be time to up his zantac dose. sometimes refluxers dont actually spit up, but the acid could still be going into his esophagus and causing pain

Zantac is very weight sensitive. Even half a pound can cause a need of increase of drug.

I have reflux and it is very painful and can be silent.
