What medications have you tried for reflux? What worked/what did not?

This might be helpful for some of us still struggling to find the right medication. (Like me)

We tried Nexuim first, all that did was kill Gabe's already small appetite. Then we went med free for a while and did somewhat ok on EBF and gripe water. Since then we've tried Zantac, an antihistamine, milk of magnesia, ginger and cinnamon. We have an appt with the gastro on Wed and I'm hoping to try Prevacid, or something else. The Zantac just isn't cutting it.

We have only tried Zantac. I do give her Mylanta if her reflux is acting up and she has already had her meds.

We tried Zantac first and that did nothing but make her mad. She hated the way it tasted. Then we went to Prevacid and 1/4 of the recommended dosage of gripe water after every meal. After we cut out the Prevacid, we stuck with gripe water just before bed. Now we only do gripe water if she seems gassier/fussier than usual and nursing or cuddling doesn't work.

My daughter is on .5 of Zantac three times a day, she has her 4 month appointment on the 12th. We're hoping her pedi will give her something else. Zantac works for a while then it stops working.
