What are some things you wish you knew about reflux before your LO came? What would you have done differently, if anything at all?

i wish i had known that 75% of asthmatics also have reflux!! my dd has nasty asthma, and since her pulmo took a stab in the dark and started her on prevacid almost a year ago we have seen huge improvements in her asthma. it was such a great and easy step in the right direction to protect her fragile lungs... we had no idea she was aspirating.

Ow, wow! I'm glad he tried the Prevacid!

I wish I knew that me getting so worked up over his crying and refluxing would just make things worse. Once I focused my energy into finding him a good GI doc, and getting him on meds, things were much easier for us. It was just such a tough time. Now I know what to do if it comes up with the next one.
