Hi:

My son is currently taking Prevacid 15 mg once a day. He was taking 2x a day since Thanksgiving (when he got the medication) but he wasn't sleeping until 4 am so I am trying for the last week to 1x a day.

He took Zantac from the time he was 3 weeks old until he was 11 months when it stopped working for him.

The doctor changed him to Prilosec but he didn't like it and it gave him a rash.

I would love to find a medication that will work well for him and we all can finally get back to normal sleeping hours. If he can't sleep, he wants his twin brother to stay up and play with him!

Nyla will be 6 next month and takes 15 mg prevacid once a day.

Brandon took prevacid from 6 weeks to 3 years. His dose was adjusted several times, but prevacid always worked well for both of them.

Gabe has been medicated since he was 5 weeks old. We've found for him going back and forth between Zantac and Pepcid (we alternate every 3-4 months) works well. He's now almost 18 months with no signs yet of outgrowing it but we're still hoping by 2.

Amaya is 3 months old and is on Zantac, but it doesn't seem to be even touching her GER. She's even up to 1mL 2x a day. I'm starting to wonder if it might be her formula that's making her reflux so bad.

My son is 5 1/2 and is taking 30mg Prevacid. He has been on everything that you all have mentioned at some point, he is now maxed out on Prevacid and we seem to be under control at the moment.

Well I guess I came late to this party, lol. Gabe is 20 months and we swap between zantac and pepcid on a 3 month schedule. He only gets relief for about 4 months on each med so we've started switching before the symptoms come back. Right now we're hoping to be better by 2 but I don't have my fingers crossed.

My daughter is 5.75 and was on Prilosec 10mg once a day. She had been on it from 13 weeks to 13 months.

We had to stop the drug recently as she was having vomiting and pale poo and they found her bowel overgrown with bacteria. They're blaming the Prilosec for it all and I'm nervous how we're going to manage her reflux.

Julia is on Zantac.. was just bumped up to 1.2ml twice (but I have been giving her 1.4 since they went by her 6 month weight) And she has gained another lb... She should be a little higher than that... But she is in a "happy" place for the time being... she is 8 1/2 months.

Ruby was on Zantac, but it didn't work. We are going back to try something else.
