I've been in and out of the hospital and doctor offices non-stop with the kids, mainly Ruby. How are your LOs doing? Reflux better/worse?

Has the Fundo helped with her reflux?

Danny is about the same reflux wise. Everything else is going haywire but reflux is stable.

She had a sleep study with Ph probe (just at the back of her throat) for apnea, and it picked up acidic refluxing episodes. That is not supposed to happen. She has an Upper GI and surgeon appt Thursday.

That stinks. Is it better just not gone or did it just not work?

They are not sure if her hiatal hernia could be coming back. It seems to have improved things quite a bit, she hasn't had any apnea episodes since. She was turning blue on us, and was hospitalized multiple times before the surgery.

I read about that. Is she on an apnea monitor as a result of those or do you just have to watch her?

That's great. I'm glad that you found something that works.

Ruby is doing well. It took her a little longer than expected to heal from surgery, but now she is eating a ton. She's not taking anything by feeding tube, but I have to vent her every couple of hours.

Wesley is still a mess though.

Sending big hugs to the other GERD mamas. I remember how horrid and how encompassing reflux can be. Soph is now 6.5 and still on laxatives but we manage her reflux with digestive enzymes.

I swear things got a whole lot better when she could start swallowing the enzymes. But it's such a hard slog.

Many kudos to you all for fighting the good fight.
