Hi there, I'm not a regular but I have a question and was wondering if anyone else in a similar boat. Declan was diagnosed with reflux around 1 month old, maybe even a little older. He was medicated with zantac for roughly 5 months (6.5 months old), and then weaned off it, and was absolutely fine. Now, at almost 16 months of age he is experiencing reflux symptoms again. Does it just go away and sometimes come back? Has this happened to any of your LO's? We have an appointment with the doc in february, I just thought I'd ask in here in the meantime.

Absolutely. Danny had it from about 2 months until he was about 18 months. After that he had NO reflux. Then all of a sudden it came back around his 4th birthday. It happens. I hope it can be treated easily!

Absolutely can come back. We were reflux free for a period of a few months but it came back and still happens quite a bit in my house. Good luck with the dr visit!!

Same here, although not for as long a stint. E went off Zantac at 6 months. About 2 months later symptoms started creeping back and he was back on meds at 8.5 months.
