I think I'll do something...I'm not sure what yet. I was going to look online to see if there was a good kid website that explains it.

I have big plans....to have OFF!!! Yeah, pretty much all the school districts around here closed schools. It's pretty much gonna be chaos - most people are leaving town because they are expecting 5 MILLION people to come. They're closing most of the beltway - it's just gonna be a mess so it was better to close. So I will be enjoying my 4 DAY weekend (the day before is Martin Luther day). I'm so stoked!

We requested tickets but haven't heard anything so, I don't guess we'll be going.

If you get tickets Augie, just come in through MD if you're driving because all the bridges into DC from Virginia will be closed to regular traffic. If you take a bus or cab or something then you're good to go

We were told by my administrator that the superintendent only approved it for 4th grade and up...so since I teach 3rd- we won't be doing anything.
