Danielle, and I just turned 23. I am approaching my final semester of a teaching licensure program and will be student teaching from January-April 2012. My licensure area is secondary social studies, but I have a BA in English and History, so I may go for dual licensure to increase my opportunities for a job.
I am most active on the Waiting to Try to Conceive board but recently discovered this board and I am thrilled! I will probably be an obnoxious advice-seeker in the future!
I am so nervous to student teach. My cooperating teacher teaches only AP US History and he sent me home with a textbook to read after our first meeting! I would love absolutely any advice from people who have had student teachers before. I have no idea what to expect!
