Yes - I had a weeks worth of St. Patrick's Day activities. Teaching first grade I try to always wrap my lessons in whatever holiday or theme is going on at the time. So my reading centers had word building activities using the word "Leprechaun", an acrostic poetry writing activity, and a handwriting lesson where they copied a St. Patrick's day poem. I read several St. Patrick's Day books. During guided math I had 3 St. Patrick's Day game boards that taught counting dollars, counting tally marks and telling time. We also did a class writing "I feel lucky when.." after reading "Sam's Lucky Money" and watching the book on video.
