I have asthma. It hasn't really affected my teaching at all. I have a inhaler with me, but rarely any symptoms while with the kids.

We don't have kids of our own yet but were recently certified as foster parents. My husband's job is REALLY flexible so he'll do the sick days with the kids.

Hi there!

I don't have any of those medical conditions, but if something does come up (like a bathroom break...those tend to happen a lot for me lately ) I have a teacher right across the hall and one who is right next door who can hang out for a few minutes and watch my kiddos.

As for kiddos with medical needs - we have detailed plans for all of our students that have medical needs. We also have a team who is trained in first aid as well as how to help in situations with students who have diabetes, seizures, etc (I'm part of this group) so I feel pretty confident having students in my classroom with different needs.
