Hi, I'm Paula. I have taught for 13 years, and I currently teach 12th grade English and a class for seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in education (like FTA, but a class!). I am also in charge of the senior projects at our school. I teach at a school of about 1650-1700 students.
I am a fairly-active poster in the pregnant after recurrent loss board, and I am a new member / mostly lurker (at least for now) of the May DDC!

Wow! Your classes sound very cool! I just teach regular old English 11 and then that English 9 repeat class.
Congrats on your new pregnancy! DH and I tried this summer and then decided to take some time off to lose weight. However, we weren't as cautious as we could have been, so we'll see if anything comes of that next weekend.

I'm also a high school English teacher in North Carolina. Right now I teach ninth and eleventh. I am a new poster to jm, but lurked after my m/c (8/06) and throughout my pregnancy (my daughter is two months old today). I wanted to respond b/c I think this forum is a great idea!
