I have been breastfeeding my son since he was born and he has been a very fussy baby. For the past few days I have not had milk with my cereal and he seems so much better. Do you know if the lactose free milk would be ok to have?

Well unfortunately, lactose is usually not hte problem with dairy with most babies. In fact, lactose intolerance is more on the rare side. What is common, is a sensitivity to the milk protein found in cows milk.

You can, however, try soy milk, rice milk, almond milk, etc. There are a lot of really good options, you may just have to sample a few brands before deciding which one you like

I agree. Soy milk is very good too, especially on sweeter cereals, it blends right in.

I was doing a ton of soy recently since I too am avoiding dairy, but I learned we shouldn't have more than 1 serving of soy a day. Soy raises estrogen levels. I am LOVING almond milk. Even if I go back on dairy I think I'll stick to the almond milk.

Where do you buy almond milk? I'm allergic to soy.
