Hello my name is Natasha and have a question about my supply. I have been nursing my DD for 8 months now. Everything was going great until early last week. I got the stomach flu (continued to nurse through that) and now it seems my supply is not what it use to be. I mean I don't even feel a let down when I'm nursing. It is getting really upsetting for both of us . Any suggestions on how to boost it back up? Thanks in advance

There are several things you can do. The first I would do would be the 3 day nursing sabbatical that is stickied at the top. You could also get some Fenugreek or Mother's milk tea. But honestly I would do the sabbatical. Good luck!

Ditto on the 3 day nursing sabbatical. Be sure to increase fluids - the fenugreek is optional but will help yield faster results when used with the 3 day nursing sabbatical

also try oatmeal, not the instant kind. It helps me boost my supply, just eat a bowl 2 or 3 times a week....

drink as much water as you can stand!!! There is also Mother's Milk (tea) which I heard works well, but I think you have to drink a lot of it too.
