I am new to this board, but not to JM. I was active in TTC and November due date boards. Andy was born Oct. 27th and is almost 6 months old. I work full time as a nurse and pump at work twice daily and go home for lunch to feed him. He has only ever had breastmilk. My question is he does not look at me when I nurse him, but looks at me all the time throughout the day. My girls are smaller so I don't know if it is this or not. If you give him a bottle he will look at you. Anyone else with this problem?
My LO is just a few days older than yours and he rarely looks at me now. He used to watch me a lot though. Maybe he just is so consumed with his mommy that he just wants to savor the breast and your smell, kwim? Do you ever give him a bottle? He might look at ppl when a bottle is given, b/c it is probably not you and that is different for him. But when you BF he knows it's you and doesn't need to examine the face. *shrug*
Audrey doesn't look at me *while* she's nursing but will stop once in awhile and look at me as if to say "look at me Mommy" she does this especially when I'm nak-ing. She also likes to suck-suck-look up-big milky grin-suck-suck.......

O.K. that is what is going on with me. He will stop if he is distracted and take a look at me. Glad to know I am not the only one. Thanks!
