I am pretty new to this group, but all the thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. I just keep trying to think if it was something i did or ate that did this to her, i know its probably not the case but here is the link to my post. Also updated in post 8. Thanks ladies.
Just curious - is it just watery? Is it normal color? what else is going on?
The good thing is that you are nursing and that will keep her hydrated b/c it is absorbed so quickly.
I really dont think its anything you did or ate. Keep us posted over here!
It is very watery, to where it is soaking through, it went from brown, to green, now to yellow, She is doing much better after being on the antibiotic, but still not herself, she is finally nursing better today, she did 8 min earlier, which is awsome compared to the 2-3 min she was doing yesterday. They want us here for one more night, which is fine with us, yesterday her heart rate and pulse ox kept dropping pretty low, but she is alot more stable today. i wish she would eat more, cuz dang it hurts!! at least i had my pump with me, so that helps relieve the pain!! Thanks for thinking of us!!
Maybe you could rent a pump from the hospital if you will be staying longer...
I would think that you need to keep pumping so your supply doesn't diminish and they could feed her your milk if she is not interested in the breast.
I hope you can get home soon! Get well Sierra!

(((hugs))) Ya brown poop would be pretty scary in a BF baby
Hope all goes well, I second the suggestion about seeing if they will give you a pump. If baby is hospitalized, they should be able to brng you one no problem.
And the LC should be able to come visit you still from the hospital to ensure that everythign is going well. (((hugs)))
