I don't know why I'm so frustrated lately.. It seems like my let down is taking much longer than normal. And DD gets soo mad. She just cries and lets go, which makes it take even longer.. I just feel like I can't keep up with her needs. It seems like she wants to eat a lot more frequently and my body isn't used to it so my let down takes forever since she just ate. Sometimes I end up grabbing a bag of milk from the freezer.. but I know that's going to mess with my supply even more. Sigh, I guess I just needed to whine lol. I'm not giving up, just needed a good vent.

Sounds like a growth spurt to me! Keep on nursing on demand, even if it's only been an hour since your last feeding session, and in a day or two your supply will have increased and DD may be more satisfied when there is more milk to be had each time she eats.

Hang in there momma, this too shall pass, and you are doing a wonderful job!

It does sound like it could be a growth spurt. Have you been drinking plenty of water lately too? Or is there anything else (stress, starting birth control, period) that could be decreasing your supply a bit?

^nope, no period or anything. My supply usually takes a dip when I get AF, so I'm not looking forward to that on top of this lol. I know this is just one difficult bump in the road, so I'm still hanging in there. It's just frustrating kwim? I hate hearing her cry in hunger.. it kills me. I wonder why my let down would all of a sudden take so much longer? I think it was longer like this with DS, but it's always been fast with her.
