my 8 month old DS has 4 teeth on top. I never feel the 3 on the bottom b/c of his tongue. he is not biting, but the teeth are starting to get uncomfortable. He even does it in his sleep. It is getting bad enough that one nipple is cracked. I really want to nurse him until 18 months but this is getting painful, especially on top of the thrush and the blister I already have. Help me please!

Oh I feel your pain, sometimes they can put enough pressure to pinch and leave serious marks but their not actually biting.

My suggestion is telling him "no teeth" is a serious voice and unlatching him for a moment and then trying again. I did this with my DS and sometimes he would take a few times, but he got the point eventually.
