I really thought we were on our way to weaning. Abigail had cut down on how much she nursed and quit asking for it at her usual times. I knew my supply had dried up, which is probably why. A few weeks ago though, I noticed...colostrum! I didn't think it would come in this quickly. She seems to like it too, because she is back to asking to nurse several times a day now and nursing for as long as she did before. With less than 4 months left in this pregnancy, I don't think it's likely she'll wean before this baby is born. I'm excited to think that tandem nursing will be in our future, it should be a good experience!

I will be so excited if you tandem nurse!!! Oh my god I'm practically jumping up and down just thinking about it.

I'm not so sure why I love that so much, but I do. I only hope I will get to do that someday too.

I keep posting in rhymes today...weird.

ETA: How was the move? The new house? How is Abby handling the changes?

That is exciting. I don't know if I have it in me or not, but I am really hoping to tandem nurse because I want my kids very close together in age, and I'd like to breastfeed well past a year! I don't have a specific goal, but I don't think a year is long enough.

Awesome news Andrea! Now you'll have experienced all the different stages of nursing and be even more of an expert

Tandem nursing is nice, especially in the begining when all the new baby does is nurse.
