I am so disappointed but looks like I am going to have to supplement with some formula. My mom is keeping Brynlee on Tuesday & Thursdays so I can get some work done from the office. I just can't keep up with freezing my BM. I pump on the days she isn't here but not enough to last through her being at mom & dad's all day. I think they'll end up giving her maybe one or two bottles of formula besides using whatever I have managed to freeze. I can't pump when I have her b/c she eats so much. She eats probably every 1.5-2 hours & does both breasts. They never even feel like they get full again b/c she eats so much. So I can't pump inbetween or even have her on one side & pump on the other.

I feel awful that we're going to have to use formula. I just hope it doesn't upset her tummy too much. We had to give it to her the 1st day she was home from the hospital b/c I had to go back to the ER. She hated it & had tummy problems for 2 days after that.

Now that she's a little older, hopefully she does well with the formula. Don't beat yourself up about it, you're doing great!

Can you take fenugreek or one of the other herbs to try and boost your supply to have extra to pump?

Also, not sure if I am correct or not so experts let me know........but if she pumps in between feedings, even if she didn't actually get any milk out, wouldn't the stimulation still help to tell her body to produce more?
