Last night and then again this morning, while my daughter was breastfeeding, she was kicking her legs, digging her face into my breast and then pulling back, grunting a little bit, wiggling, squirming, etc. It was getting really frustrating. Anyway, what do you think the problem is? Does it sound like gas? She is still swaddled so maybe she's telling me she doesn't want to be swaddled? I don't know, I need help!

Has she had her 4 month spurt yet? If not, it could be that.

It could be gas, too.

It also could be her wanting to be free.

How's your letdown? Sometimes babies act like that with either delayed letdown or overactive letdown. I've experienced both.

The best advice I can give is to not give up. Keep offering the breast and nursing as much as you can.

Good luck!

My LO did the same thing around that age. It took awhile but eventually she stopped. Good luck!
