I have been expressing about three ounces of milk a day, and freezing it so that we can introduce a bottle soon. Jonah will be three weeks next weekend, and I am planning on having my mom give him one then. He is really latching on well and doing well with the breast, so I think it is safe to say in a week we will be established enough to introduce the bottle.
So here's my question. I just looked at my frozen milk, and it is yellow. It is very milky white when I express it into the bottles. I'm using the Medela storage system, if that makes a difference. Is it normal for milk to turn yellow in the freezer???
Thanks for any advice!
edited because my "z" on my keyboard is broken, and I realized I was typing that I have been "freeing" my breast milk LOL
