I did everything possible to BF with my DD, she was a champ, I was not able to produce enough milk even pumping with hospital machine and feeding her before giving bottle. I guess my milk just never came in, I was induced after my water broke and dilated to 8 cm before having an emergency csection. So I wonder if that effected production at all, I am going to try for a vbac if possible this time. The most I produced was an ounce or 2 at a time but I still bfed until 6 months because we both enjoyed it. Any thoughts or experiences that anyone has would be helpful, thanks!
Just to get a little more information from you - did you work with a lacatation consultant the first time? Did you try anything like fenugreek to help increase your supply? What were your first indicators that you had a low supply?

Hi I did work with one and she suggested the fenugreek which did increase my supply somewhat but I had a bad reaction to it, TMI but I couldn't get off the toilet the entire time I used it, not fun esp right after a c-section. I truly did have a very low supply she said. I would like to do whatever I can to help during pregnancy or at birth if possible.
