WOW!!! Im not quite sure what to think of that!! I don't think I would eat something made with breast milk...unless it was my own breast milk!!!

I wouldn't mind eating something with my own, but I don't want food with BM from someone else, kinda creepy to me.

that's wild. I'd probably try it just for the novelty.

Can you imagine something like this in North America - there would be such a huge public outcry - LOL.

Id rather have something made from human milk than milk from a bovine farm animal! lol.

I'm curious to see how it pans out!

I don't know how I feel about that...I've never even tasted my BM, I've always heard it's sweet and I'm not so big on sweet milk. I don't even like cow's milk.

That's just kinda weird to me.

How do they make sure that the mama's are disease free, aren't there diseases that can be transmitted through BM?

My mom loves to tell this story, and I think it is relevant here When my sister was born prematurely, my mother had to use a wet nurse until her milk came in. She became good friends with my sister's nurse, and one evening went to dinner at her house with my dad. They had pumpkin pie and coffee for dessert. Apparently, the pie was exquisite, and my dad (the cook in the family) kept asking for the recipe, but my mom's friend just kind of pushed it aside. Then when my mom was adding milk to her coffee, she said "You won't need any sugar if you use that milk..." That's when my mom realized they'd been consuming breastmilk! She made so much milk that they stopped buying cows milk and just started using her breastmilk.

Really gives a new meaning to "I made it myself, from scratch!" LOL I think as long as the mother was certified in donating breastmilk, I'd be okay with tasting it. I am not sure why people are creeped out by human milk, but not the milk of other animals like cows, goats, and sheep.
