I've seen topics on them before, but never paid much attention Who's used them?
My MIL bought me a pair just recently to try with this new baby. I leaked a lot with Abigail though, and I'm not sure what to expect this time. Do they work pretty well? Any tips on using them?

I wanted to try them but never did because they were like 20 bucks and after dealing with Thrush I was scared to.

I have heard GREAT things about them and that they work really well, but I have also heard that if you arent careful it can lead to Thrush.

As long as you wear them correctly and dont get moisture in them you shouldnt have a problem with thrush.

I believe they would work great though because the way you put them on is kinda like a suction and it holds your nipple in. When I am breastfeeding if I start to let down I can apply a small amount of pressure to my other nipple to keep from leaking (I do this so I dont have to wear pads at night anymore so the girls can breath I dont want thrush again)

So since that pressure works I feel that the lily padz would do the trick as well.

I dpn't think I could ever get away with those. My son is 8 months old and I still spray across the room at random times.

I could never stop my letdown at first, it took until my supply was very well established to be able to do that. Everytime I tried, I would just end up with a handful of milk I'm hoping to have a my supply established quicker this time which should mean less leaking, but I guess you never know!

I have used them with both of my last 2 kids and I love them. I didn't start using them until about a month after the baby was born, but then they worked great! I don't use them too much now since I don't leak anymore, but I do wear them after pumping at work to hide the noticable fact that I just pumped and I will wear them if I am going braless.

I have some--I mostly just wear them for hot tub and swimming. I still leaked a little milk in mine and then they got stinky smelling..and I would have to wash them like 5 times a day.
