I am still bfing my 10.5 month old with no end in site. LOL, she loves to nurse, and really isn't that interested in much else. Sometimes I am afraid she will never wean. I haven't tried to hard to push food... I keep saying after 1.
LOL, we are at 22 months and going strong, we still nurse on average 8-10 times day/night plust 3 meals a day and at least 2 snacks. So yah we are still breastfeeding. I figure if we go past 3 years, then Ill start to encourage him to stop .
I mostly nurse, sometimes she'll eat babyfood or tablefood. But I'm still nursing long and strong. lol And I don't have plans on quitting til she's ready but definitely at least before she starts pre school. lol I have to have a limit. lol
Of course we are. DD is going to be 2 in a couple of weeks. She's at the breast 1-2 times a night and 3-5 times during her awake hours. I ask her when she's going to stop drinking "doodoo" (what we call the breast around here) and she says "I 2". She tells everybody that she's 2.
I think that I'll be comfortable with her bfing until 3 or so. But, age wouldn't be the only factor in that decision. I think that we'll be child respective in regards to weaning.
