I'm still exclusively BFing but would like to have pumped milk to offer bottles when I'm gone or when we need to hit the road (don't want to be the next mama to BF and drive )
I don't know when to pump to get enough and still be able to BF Cole. Any suggestions? I've tried at night but end up having to give what I pump. Do I just pump when he's done nursing or try to establish another exclusive pumping time?
Now that I'm back at work, I only pump at work, but when I was on maternity leave and trying to get a freezer stash started, I would pump about 30 minutes after her first feeding in the morning. It could usually get 2-4oz that way.
