I had my teeth cleaned today, and have to go back in 1 week to have a filling replaced (cavity in there). Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but is it ok to get the novacaine, and whatever else they give, if you're BFing? I will be sure to let my dentist know, but thought I'd get an opinion here too. TIA!

A local anesthetic like novocaine is safe while breastfeeding.
