My OB/GYN called me in some antibiotics just in case my c-section incision is infected. He called in Augmentin and they gave me the generic form of it. The Dr said that it was safe to take while breastfeeding but I want to double check and make sure because I dont want to take it if it is going to hurt my DD I have already taken one of them but If it will hurt her I will not take anymore of it. Have any of you ladies taken this particular antibiotic while bf'ing? If so how did baby do with it?

I'm not coming up with anything using that name, but these 2 websites might help if you know what other name it goes by:
LactMed Search
kellymom.com :: Selected List of Medications approved by the AAP for use in breastfeeding mothers

Also, be sure to take a probiotic to prevent thrush!
kellymom.com :: Q&A: Preventing Thrush
