I was telling my sister in law last night aboutthe moster cookies. She's been BF for almost 6 months now and her supply is starting to lower. She's done the freagreek and tea stuff and hates that she smells like syrup so I thought that would be something she can try but she wants to know how long it stares to work.

also can you use the ones that cooks in 1 min or do you have to use the old fashion ones.

No, the oats have to be 'old fashioned' or rolled, not the quick cook ones!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

My BFF ate 2 cookies per day and I think she noticed within 1-2 days.

You should use the old-fashioned rolled oats, not the quick ones. I made one batch way back when Lily was about 3 months old just to try. I only ate 2 cookies and the next day my supply was crazy. I was leaking milk everywhere and spraying it, so it worked fast for me.

Just a few cookies a day usually has an effect on me.

I agree, as your baby gets older, you just don't feel "full" anymore. A lot of times I can't even tell which breast she nursed off last because they are both are pretty soft. Even with pumping, I've read that it's normal for the amoutn you pump to decrease as your baby gets older. As long as her little one seems satisfied after nursing and is having enough wet and dirty diapers, she is fine

She pumps and nurses. I talked to her about what you ladies said and she said she gets 1 oz less when pumping then she did before and her DD takes longer to eat. She took about 15 min but now she's taking 45min and wants both sides.

I hope the cookies work great for her....

Wonder if her bub is teething also, so the nursing feels good? Better safe than sorry though...if the cookies are all it takes at least it's an easy fix, right! )

I don't have the willpower these other ladies have because I think I eat about 10 cookies per day when I make them. Ok - maybe more like 6, but still.... I am usually engorged the day after making them and I never get engorged anymore normally. Right around the 6 month mark, my supply went down a little too. I used to always get 18 - 21 oz during my 3 pumping sessions at work, then it went down to about 12 for a little over a week. I started to worry, but it went back up. Now I get about 16 oz per day, but it is rare that I get my old output anymore. Not sure why. He is getting plenty to eat, though and growing like a weed.
